EDAP TMS S.A. Announces Exclusive Distribution Of New Muscle Trainer Device In Japan

EDAP TMS S.A. (Nasdaq: EDAP), the global leader in High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) treatment of prostate cancer and the international leader in the development, production, and distribution of a wide portfolio of minimally invasive medical devices primarily for the treatment of urological diseases is proud to report it recently signed a new agreement with the Japanese importer Medi Trend K.K. for exclusive distribution of the "PB Trainer" device in Japan. This new muscle trainer device delivers similar effects to Kegel exercises for the pelvic floor. PB Trainer was fully developed and manufactured by Neotonus Inc. (USA) and uses the revolutionary Extracorporeal Magnetic Innervation technology (ExMIT) to stimulate and to help users to exercise all of the muscles of the pelvic floor region. In addition to being painless and non- invasive, the PB Trainer requires no active participation by the user.

The company will be attending the upcoming 95th Annual Meeting of Japanese Urological Association (JUA) Congress scheduled in Kobe city this year April 14-17. Company products and clinical results will be presented during this convention. According to the information gathered by the authorities in charge of the JUA Congress this year, more than 6,000 participants are expected to join the exclusive event.

The Japanese headquarters of the company are based in Tokyo, with branch offices in Osaka, Sapporo, Fukuoka, and Okayama.
